TEA Party Patriots Head to Washington      11/2/2009

Click for more multimedia content.

Members of TEA Party Patriots, Freedom Works, and other conservative grassroots organizations are headed to Washington, D.C. this week to make their voices, and YOUR voice, heard by elected representatives. TEA Party organizers are calling for citizens who can't make the trip to Washington, D.C. to call key Senators starting at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday and at 11:30 a.m. Eastern on Wednesday. If the phone lines are busy, everyone is urged to email or fax those offices until you get through. As Robin Stublen, a member of the Leadership Council for TEA Party Patriots and local organizer for Punta Gorda, Florida, the effectiveness of the effort depends largely on overwhelming grassroots support of those who are there in person.
